When you come into my shop IвЂ™m usually wearing an apron and work gloves and my hammer and screw driver are my best friends. I run every aspect the business from A to Z. I have worked very long and hard hours trying to create a better and superior product then what is now out there. It definitely has not been a smooth road for me. Great, so letвЂ™s dig a little deeper into the story вЂ“ has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges youвЂ™ve had to overcome? I continue making my beautiful domino tables. Valerie has now moved on pursuing a career in Veterinary medicine. She became my left hand, I will forever be grateful for all of her help and support. I became so busy that I offered a job to my daughter Valerie who was on break from school She said yes and the training began. With the support of my family I put on my big girl pants and got to work. Bello left a legacy that I will continue. I then had to gather all of the courage and strength that I could to continue the work that we started and worked so hard for on my own. We, then started participating in the Art festivals and again they were a hit! Unfortunately my wonderful husband and best friend of 23 years passed away suddenly from cancer in the year 2014. We grew to the point where we now needed a showroom where we could make and display our tables. Our customers loved the idea and started using them as wall art. We get home and I say to Mario, We are going to make these tables so beautiful that people will be able to use them as wall art. I would line up the tables against the van and people started asking me how much were the pictures frames. We would get there around 8AM till about 4 PM and sellout. We would park our van on different corners, La 40 in Miami became our Saturday ritual. Since we didnвЂ™t have a storefront or a warehouse to show our product we took to the street to show people our tables. With every table that we made we became better, constantly making changes and improvements.

The waiting period for a domino table now became2-3 weeks. We were now producing tables 7 days a week.

I left my job in retail of 12 years and became his work partner. Where ever we took a table it sold!! I realized quickly that he found and created a product that had a large market just waiting to be exploded. He then went back to the cigar shop with the table and the owner fell in love with it and said OK now make me 6 more!ДЇrom there, everything just took off very quickly. It had flaws galore but he was in the right track. Since there werenвЂ™t any in the market to go by. He then went to Home Depot brought some wood and got to work. I had never seen a domino table made of wood before. I said what is a domino table? and what do you know about making a domino table. He comes home that day very excited and says to me Babe IвЂ™m making a domino table. My husband Mario, being a quick thinker and very handy said to him, I will be back in about a week with a domino table. He said that he had been searching everywhere but couldnвЂ™t find one. The owner was not interested at the moment but they got to talking and he asks my husband if he maybe he knew where he can find a wood domino table. So he made an ashtray with a clock in it that said Running on Cuban Time and took it to a cigar shop. My husband at the time was unemployed but was very handy making things.
